The Maya Cosmo-Vision - Entering the Fire
An Amazing Equinox Story

A vision that began 22,000 years ago was revealed to a small group of spiritual adventurers in the sacred site of Tikal, Guatemala. It was the Spring Equinox, the beginning of a new year, a new cycle. At pre-dawn on March 21, our group entered the Grand Plaza surrounded by huge, looming silhouettes of the most powerful and visually impressive pyramids in the Mayalands. In the dark we climbed the east facing temple, Temple of the Moon, to await the sunrise. Under the stars, the energy was intense and it was hard to meditate. As the brown jays announced the Sun's arrival with their raucous song, awakening a sleeping jungle, we began our Maya-Inca- Pleiadian Ceremony that was part of a 24 hour global solar wave of prayer for humanity's awakening. The energy smoothed out into a peaceful harmonic energy. The love of thousands was evident. It was beautiful.

Once the Sun was completely visible at the base of the pyramid, Mayan Elders and Priests began a 10,400 year old fire ceremony to welcome the new year. The sound of Rigoberto Ixchep's voice echoed among the temples, awakening our hearts to the reverence of life. He called to the guardians of the 4 directions. He chanted to all 260 suns of the sacred Tzolk'in. His chanting became an ancient song in our hearts. He prayed to Mother Earth and Father Sun, his voice cracking with emotion. The love expressed for Earth and Sky was overwhelming.

The presence of spirit in the Grand Plaza of Tikal was otherworldly this morning. The plaza, usually filled with hundreds of people at sunrise, was virtually empty, leaving our group and the Maya the privacy to express our hearts openly. The air was perfectly still. The jungle was awakening with the sounds of birds and monkeys. As the prayers subsided, the Maya began to circle the fire, and Father Sun was just reaching the crown of the pyramid of the Jaguar. This temple is an Equinox solar marker and casts a perfect shadow on the Temple of the Moon only on the Equinox.

They circled 7 times counter clockwise and 7 times clockwise. The fire danced and swirled as the Maya walked around the fire. And then a most unexpected thing happened. The fire came alive. It jumped up 8 to 10 feet in a double helix fire vortex/tornado that roared like a torch. The sound of this phenomena was incredible and seemed to fill our very souls. It was like we entered the dimension of the fire. Three times the fire came alive right before our disbelieving eyes. It was apparent to the Maya this was not a common event. One Mayan elder stated that the huge vortex of fire meant planetary work was being done. This was great confirmation for the affects of the global solar ceremonies we were linking with. We realized that the element of fire was a living being which we could effect and which could affect us. Even today I can feel the roar and power of the fire inside of me. Those participating had be activated by a powerful element, burning away our past and clearing us for our future.

During the days to follow we had the great opportunity to hear many of these elders share their Maya Cosmo-vision. The Quiche and Maam traditions have held strongly to much of the information given to them by ancient star beings.

The Maya are not based in race, but consciousness. The Priests and Priestesses were the ones called Maya. There are 40 ethnic groups that have the Mayan tradition. Each tribe has its own language, but all have the same Mayan Cosmo vision. All tribes have the same basic beliefs, and all understand about harmonizing nature.

The vision of the Mayan world began about 22,000 years ago and is made up of cycles of time called SUNS or worlds. Each sun/world is 5200 years long. We have passed through 3 sun/worlds and are living at the end of the 4th sun/world. The end of the 4th Sun and beginning of the 5th Sun is Dec. 21, 2012. In 14 years the state of human consciousness will radically change.

In the beginning, the Maya understood that they came from the Pleiades, or Muchuchumil as they are known by the Maya. The relationship with the Pleiades and the Mayan world is written in the sacred books of the Maya. It is in the consciousness of the grandmothers and grandfathers who had it passed on to them. It is an important record. The elders say the universe comes from the Pleiades. With the Hubble Telescope, it was discovered about one and a half years ago, that there is a place where stars are born in a great spiral that originates at the site of the Pleiades. At the outside of the spiral is complete empty space.

During the first sun/world the Earth was implanted with the 4 races; Red, Yellow, Blue and White. There was a council of 4 great creators called Balams that did this work. The 4 had a conference and determined that life was needed in this part of the universe. They did a reading for where and when this needed to take place. They did many experiments with the creation of life, plants, animals, etc. They tried clay first and then wood from the Setay tree. On the third attempt the type of man created was more like a monkey. On the fourth attempt, which was successful, they made man from corn, four races from four colors of corn. White Corn for the white race; Yellow corn for the Asian race; Red corn for the red race; Black corn for black race. This was done at the beginning of the First Sun.

After life was implanted on Earth, the four continents were colonized and the four races continued the cycles of light. The creators sent four other beings from the Pleiades and each one of them took a continent. Kukulcan (or Quetzalcoatl) in America, Mayachez for the white world, Caramaya for the Asian world, and Nagamaya for the black.

At the beginning of time the Maya didn't have the Yucatan or Florida or Caribbean islands, it was know as Kak Uleu (Atlantis) in Maya. There was an interior ocean that was the center of trading and commerce. Archeologists have discovered proof of this. Near Columbia and Texas they have found Mayan artifacts. For 10,400 years the Mayas worked this ocean. Then at the ending of the 2nd Sun there was a great Earth cataclysm.

Before the major Earth cataclysms at the end of the 2nd Sun, the guardians transformed and transferred sacred energies and teachings to safe places. All this was completed before a pole shift occurred at the end of the 2nd world.

Atlantis was known as Kak Uleu in Maya, (Red Earth) and was the land of the Red race. It is now the Meso-American world, the Caribbean islands, Florida and the Yucatan. Southern Atlantis is what is now the north part of Colombia and Venezuela. It was influenced greatly by the Pleiades. The energies of Atlantis were moved to Tikal, Guatemala.

Mu was known as Akab Uleu in Maya, (Black Earth) and was the land of the Black race. The land masses of Mu became Australia and it stretched from South Africa to Madagascar, Polynesia, and included part of what is now India. Mus energy was from the star Sirius. The energy of Mu was shifted to Memphis, Egypt. Both Atlantis and Mu sunk during the change during the ending of the 2nd world.

Ys was known as Saq Uleu to the Maya, (White Earth) and was the land of the White race. It was in the part of the world that is now called the Arctic Circle. It was influenced by the North star Polaris. Ys didn't sink but froze instead. Its energy was transferred from Thule, the capital of Ys, to Olympus in Athens Greece. The Thule society had its esoteric origins in the knowledge from Ys. The Nazi regime used this esoteric knowledge in their attempt at power and control.

Lemuria was know as Rux Uleu in Maya, (Yellow Earth) It is the world of the yellow race. Lemuria became Australia and the Polynesian islands. The Energy of Lemuria was transferred to Lhasa, Tibet, and is represented by the Southern Crux constellation.

When the distance in land masses came about during the cataclysms at the end of the 2nd SUN, it changed all the structures of our planet and the energies of the planet were restored. But as a result of the cataclysm, the earth was covered by clouds. The Balams (the Lords of the 4 root races) began to work to clear the clouds. These were Balam Kitze (Lord of the East), Balam Akab ( Lord of the west), Majakutaj (Lord of the north), and Ik Balam (Lord of the south). Balam means Lord or Jaguar.

They performed 4 ceremonies. The 1st and 2nd ceremonies to clear the clouds were unsuccessful. On the third try luminous beings of light came down. They were four Pleiadian Star beings. They talked to the Balams about a different technology to be more successful. At the end of the 4th ceremony using the new technology, the clouds parted and they could see the Sun again. When they saw the Sun again, they danced and sang. The 4th ceremony is what the living Maya of today still practiced nearly 10,400 years later and what our group experienced at the base of Temple of the Moon in Tikal during Equinox.

They took measurements of the new land masses of the Americas with a string of light. They measured from Alaska to the tip of South America. It was discovered that Momostenago in Guatemala was the center of the light string. Momostenago is a sacred place and is considered the umbilical cord of the Earth. Near Momostenago on a sacred mountain called Paklom the Maya still perform ceremony here.

The Pleiadian beings came to Earth to work with the four root races. In the Mayalands they gave instructions to guide in reconstructing the world. After their instructions were finished, they wrapped themselves in sheets while everybody was in celebration. When they finished the celebrations, the indigenous went to look for the star people. When they lifted the sheets they were gone. They disappeared in the sacred site known today as Kumar Kaj and went to do jobs in other parts of the world. They had physical bodies, but they could transmute them. Three of these left families behind. These star beings left four gifts behind for humanity, a sacred pouch, a metal crown that looked like flowers, a seed of light, and a seed of time (the 20 Mayan calendars). These four great gifts are what hold the unity of the Maya. Still today these four gifts give strength and inspiration to the Mayan people.

"The human being is always evolving, even though the chaos surrounding us makes it look otherwise. These are times of great changes for humanity. They are prophetic times. Humanity needs to be conscious in the difficult times we are in now. There are only 14 years left. If we don't unite now and achieve unity, the results could be catastrophic. It is up to us how we help these changes to be made. We can do it through meditation, crystals, songs, etc. It doesn't matter how, just so we unite and do it with much spiritual power. We can make this work and minimize the drastic changes. If we see it from the scientific, intellectual point of view, we see it as almost impossible. If we see it from a magic point of view, we can feel that yes, we can make a difference." Gerardo Barrios Kaanek

Many heartfelt thanks to the Mayan Elders and Priests who shared this ancient wisdom to our group.
