The long version of the Avalon Essence Saga.

The Avebury Stone Circle

I made my first pilgrimage to Avebury's huge, monolithic, stone circle many years ago in 1997. Avebury is near Silbury Hill, and the surrounding fields often times manifest intricate crop circle formations. It was inside one of these formations, a 33 petaled sun formation, that I made my first sacred site essence . . . our amazing Crop Circle Essence. Now, 10 years later, I have come full circle again to the place where it all started.

I had a powerful vision on that first trip to Avebury. I was leaning up against one of the monolithic stones, and while half awake . . . half asleep, I had the blessing to see an open Star Gate / Dimensional Portal. In front of me, there were two huge stones that seemed to be out of place by themselves. The Star Gate appeared between these two stones like a laser light grid that formed a precise but complex pyramidal shape. People were coming to and from other dimensions. They were powerful beings of light with completely open hearts. The vision was one I could never forget and harder still to understand.

When I returned to Avebury, I was excited to see what had evolved since my last visit. I was hoping to become clear about what I saw during my previous visit to the area. On this location on the Earth, there is a rare crossing point of two grid lines, called the "Michael and Mary lines". At this crossing point, the energy is greatly amplified with Michael and Mary energy. Three other well known crossing points of the Michael / Mary lines are around the Glastonbury area. They are at the Abbey at King Arthur's original resting place; the Tor . . . guarded by St. Michael; and Chalice Well sacred springs which are saturated with Mother Mary healing energy.

I entered Avebury's circle a different way this year. Each stone that I touched simply said, "Not here, go to the next one." So I did. Each huge stone told me the same thing over and over. I felt that I was being pushed through the site. Soon I found myself right back at the location where I had the original vision in 1997.

Two Huge Stones at Avebury's Stone Circles

I could not see the Star Gate in front of me like I did in 1997, and I was disappointed. So I walked over to the two huge stones where I had the vision of the Star Gate. Archangel Michael and King Arthur appeared to me along with a group of huge, powerful guardians that I was told were the builders of the site. This was amazing as I had not connected with King Arthur or these guardians before. They began to reveal what was beginning to happen right under my feet.

Deep in the Earth, I could see a small pyramidal shape. I was told that the Star Gate was closed down for a time and was re-opening that very day. What luck that I happened to be here on this day I thought. I asked why this day was so special. They answered and said that this day was Celtic New Year, and that the veils between our dimension and others were very thin on this day. They told me that for a long time, even eons of time, on this day the underworlds could drain the light from our world creating havoc in our dimension and affecting the consciousness of humanity. I could see this drain of light, and it looked like an upside down tornado of darkness.

Then right there, they flipped the dark tornado 180 degrees vertically and anchored it to higher dimensions. They shared that this was a re-booting of this site, one of many, many sites around the world that will be rebooted in preparation for the coming age. Many light workers would bear witness to this shifting. They said that from this point on, the newly upgraded tornado of light would raise up the energy of this dimension by drawing down a brilliant, rarefied energy of the higher dimensions to this world. This was part of a planetary ascension process. From this point on, these thin veils would add to the light and well being of the consciousness of humanity, and this will become more and more apparent over time. They said that we earned this sacred blessing and were ready for its powerful light.

The Sun breaks out while the essence is being charged.

Once this reboot process was complete, I could see the small, pyramid shape begin to rise up and grow increasingly brilliant. This was the Star Gate reopening. Here Archangel Michael and King Arthur, along with the Avebury Guardians, gave me permission to make an essence. So I placed the essence bowl on the vibrant, green grass between the two huge Star Gate stones and added the water. Quickly I saw the tip of the rising pyramid come right through the bowl and grow to about 33 feet above the ground from tip to tip in 4 directions. A nice bonus is that the guardians cleared the site of all tourists for a time, and we were totally alone in this ancient stone circle. As the event revealed itself to us, the sun burst through the clouds in confirmation that the light had returned. This was the birth of the New Avebury Stone Circle Sacred Site Essence. Thanks to Carolyn, Rob a.k.a. Doc, and Carolan for your assistance in holding the space for this to take place.

The Holy Thorn Tree

Joseph of Arimathea in stained glass at St Johns

The Holy Thorn Tree is a sacred tree that is said to have mysterious origins in the Middle East. It is said that the thorn tree was brought to Glastonbury, England by Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus. It is said that Joseph was the Virgin Mary's uncle. After Jesus' resurrection, Joseph came to Glastonbury with the sacred chalice of Jesus' blood and sweat. Joseph plunged his walking staff into the ground, on what we now know as Wearyall Hill, and it burst into a blooming Thorn tree. Joseph said "Since we be weary all, here we will rest". Thus the name of the location, Wearyall Hill.

Wearyall Hill, Glastonbury - with the Tor in the back ground

It is interesting that this sacred tree blooms every Christmas as if it was still in its country of origin, and again at Easter . . . a normal time for plant to bloom in England. The Holy Thorn Tree is even known to be sacred to the Queen of England who still requests a bloom from this tree every Christmas. All of the Holy Thorn Trees in the area are direct descendants of the original tree at Wearyall Hill. The Thorn Tree is known for the qualities of perseverance and tolerance.

There are several well known Holy Thorn Trees in Glastonbury today: In the old Abby ruins, the original tree atop Wearyall Hill, in front of St. John the Baptist church in Glastonbury, and a few at Chalice Well Gardens. While we were in Glastonbury, only one Thorn Tree was just beginning to bloom one entire month early. This was the one at St. John the Baptist church. It was here at St. John the Baptist church that I was called to make the Holy Thorn Tree Sacred Site Essence.

A first Thorn Tree Bloom.

We were allowed to pick one perfect bloom from the first blooms on the tree, and place it in the bowl. The bowl rested upon branches in the tree, hovering between heaven and Earth. Once I was clear that it was complete, we bottled the master essence there along with the one perfect bloom.

The Return of King Arthur's Camelot

On my first trip to England, I visited the St. John the Baptist church in Glastonbury. It is a stunningly beautiful and peaceful church filled with medieval artifacts and amazing stained glass. But what has haunted me over the last 10 years was the energy I felt from two extremely old black marble slabs which cover two unmarked tombs on either side of the high altar at this church. Back in 1997, and still today, I consider myself a novice to Arthurian myth and legend, but once I touched these black marble stones what washed over me was the tangible presence of King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, and a strange familiar feeling of an idealistic time in Camelot in which there was honor and impeccability.

Over the years, I've talked with many of my friends in England and asked if they knew anything about the black stones. No one knew of them, and some even suggested they had been removed. So when I returned this year in 2007, one of my first stops in Glastonbury was to return to St. John the Baptist church. Much to my delight tucked away humbly on either side of the altar were the two massive and ancient, black marble stones. They are still there. Again I went to them to connect and again that old feeling rise up in me of a time and a land that we still long for today.

Again I asked the church officials of the Church about the black marble slabs. They said that they too felt that they were very unusual, but according to some sketchy history, they were said to be the tombs of two wealthy merchants from Glastonbury's past in the 1500's. They were puzzled by these stone slabs as they are unlike anything in the church. They appear to be quite old and, oddly enough, had been broken and were repaired.

In order to get clear about my King Arthur visions, I went to a place that is thought to be the burial place of Camelot's King and his Queen, Guinevere. I went back to the Glastonbury Abbey. Here at the Abbey the last fragments of Arthurian history still endure.

Aluna at the Abby Grave site of King Arthur

The Abbey is rich in myth, legend and some very sketchy history. Archaeology suggests that Christianity was present in Somerset and particularly at the Abbey all the way back to Glastonbury's earliest days. Some even called it a second a Rome, as it became a huge pilgrimage site. Legend has it that Joseph of Arimathea brought Jesus here and built the old Waddle and Daub church. History records documented that this church was still standing in 600AC, but was burnt down when the entire Abbey Church was destroyed by fire in 1184.

In 1191, legend says monks found the buried remains of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere under two huge, black marble stones! King Arthur had an engraved cross covering his tomb. When the monks opened the grave of Queen Guinevere, her long golden hair blew away like golden dust. Both King Arthur and Queen Guinevere were re-buried in 1278 just in front of the high altar in the Abbey in the presence of King Edward I and Queen Eleanor. Again, they were buried under the original two huge, black marble stones! So are you following me on this one?

Here's where it gets really interesting. In 1539, the Abbey was seized on orders of King Henry VIII, during his dissolution of the monasteries. Many think he dissolved it just to obtain the wealth that the Abbey had compiled, but as I sat there on the Abbey grounds, I was surprised to tune in to old King Henry VIII himself. When I looked past the greed and the unconsciousness of the man, I realized he was also insanely jealous. The reason why the Abbey had such pilgrimage appeal was the very fact that King Arthur and Queen Guinevere were buried there. Being a jealous man, he didn't like being overshadowed by a king that had been dead for centuries. He wanted to put an end to it. He wanted King Arthur's legacy to be wiped out. So along with destroying the Abbey and pillaging its wealth, he also destroyed any written history about King Arthur and his visions of Camelot. It is here where remaining fragments of Arthurian history ends. Beyond this point, there is nothing recorded about what happened to the graves of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere.

The black marble tomb cover of King Arthur

I returned to St. John the Baptist church with these bits of Arthurian history to again study the black marble slabs. All around the church there were other tomb sites with prominent names engraved, along with dates of birth and death. Why would two wealthy merchants in Glastonbury want to be buried on either side of the high altar with no recognition of name, and date of birth and death? I thought that this was puzzling. Also, in a church that was impeccable to fine detail, why were these merchants buried under damaged broken and thusly repaired black marble slabs? Even the stone tomb underneath the marble covers had been repaired.

Atop these black marble slabs, there is evidence that there used to be some identifying markers attached to the top of each stone. One of the officials at the church said they felt there might have been bronze images affixed to the top of the black marble tomb lids. The outline of one of the removed images is obviously a man, and the other is obviously a woman. So why were the identifying bronze images removed?

I sat down near the stones and allowed myself to feel them again. I tuned into a few quiet and secret monks. After King Henry VIII's vicious rampage, they were forced to go underground with their religious order. At this point, St. John the Baptist church had been in place for a hundred years and was acted as a haven where the monks could hide out undercover. As the Abbey was demolished stone by stone, these few unnamed monks recovered the tombs of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere before it was destroyed. They reburied the two on either side of the altar at St. John the Baptist church using the original black marble tomb covers. They removed the bronze figures affixed to the top of the marble slabs. In order to protect and respect the resting place of their ancient King Arthur and Queen Guinevere, they made up the story of the two wealthy merchants.

It is here today, in this quiet church in Glastonbury, that King Arthur and Queen Guinevere still rest today. They are not hidden away in some sacred location as we might expect. They are out in plain view shrouded in a twist of made up history. I know those that have the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and the heart to feel, will feel this as I have. This is not about finding a lost king or queen, but an opportunity to awaken the idealistic vision inside ourselves and begin to live in honor and impeccability. I ask you that read this today to keep this information hidden in your heart secretly as the monks did. The Masters say "to dare, to do, and to keep silent." One day I hope you may go and sit with the King and Queen . . . the ones who believed that honor, fairness and impeccability are not just an ideal, but a way of life. Visit them to remember that you to can create a better world. Do it quietly, secretly, respectfully and with an open heart.

It was here in this quiet church on top of the black marble tomb covers that I was allowed to make the King Arthur of Camelot Sacred Site Essence. Logic would also tell me that it would be appropriate to make a Queen Guinevere essence also. I was quickly told that one essence would maintain the energy of both Arthur and Guinevere. I was also told that one could not be separated from the other, as they were twin souls.

The making of the King Arthur Essence with stained glass window reflected in the water

As I placed the bowl atop Arthur's resting place, I noticed that the massive stained glass window was reflected in the bowl's water. The energy I felt was noble yet unpretentious. It felt like a whispered secret to be kept in our hearts and out of our world for this time. It was hard for me to reveal the location of these two honorable ones to you at this time, but I also know that others have the right to know their location, so one day they too can meditate with the memory of an ancient time that can and will come again.

The Chalice Well

On my first trip to England in 1997, my last stop was to Chalice Well and its Gardens. I really didn't know what I was entering into until I reached the well cover adorned with the sacred symbol of the Vesica Piscis, a double intersecting circle. I dropped to my knees as tears of joy rolled down my cheeks. It was overwhelming. I could feel the presence of Jesus and Mother Mary. I felt like I was being held by the Divine Mother herself in a nurturing embrace that filled the empty places inside my heart with indescribable peace and love. Needless to say, Chalice Well has become one of my very favorite sacred sites in England to date, and a pilgrimage site for uncountable seekers over many, many centuries.

The Sun sparkles in the Vesica Piscis pool at Chalice Well

Chalice Well, also known as St. Joseph's Well, is linked to Christian and Arthurian legend, and is a timeless and sacred place that is full of legend, symbolism, sacred geometry and tangible healing energy. The wells location is at a crossing of twin currents of energy called the Michael and Mary lines. These lines travel from distant Cornwall to the Glastonbury Abbey, St. Michael's Tor and through Chalice Well before heading off to the Avebury's monolithic stone circle. It is said that Chalice Well is considered to be the 6th Chakra and relates to the third eye and a location of legendary King Arthur's Court.

Legend says that Joseph of Arimathea, uncle to Jesus, traveled to Chalice Well after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. He is said to have buried cruets containing blood and water from the wounds of Jesus. From that day, the water of the spring became red. Pilgrims have come for centuries to drink the iron rich water and to meditate and be healed in its amazing gardens.

Red berries on the sacred Yew Tree

In Chalice Well, there are several ancient Yew trees. These trees were typically planted at the entrances to sacred places like churches, etc…. The Yew Tree is a symbol of longevity, rebirth and resurrection and acted as sacred sentinels. In present time, the presence of a Yew Tree provides a reason for archaeologists to look for a location of an ancient church.

Tuning into one of the ancient Yew trees

And then... there was the St. Michael's Tor, The Crown Chakra of Avalon…
a.k.a the one that got away :)

St. Michael of the Tor - Stained glass window from St John's the Babtist church

The first time I climbed to the top of St. Michael's Tor, I meditated while sitting in the remains of the church doorway. I felt Archangel Michael sit next to me, and we quietly watched the setting sun. We didn't need to share anything between us. This time was just for us, the Sun, and a beautiful English countryside laid out before us. It was magical.

That first day I experienced the Tor was also synchronistically on a sacred day called Beltane. Beltane, or Bealtaine, is an ancient Gaelic holiday celebrated around May 01st and marked the beginning of the pastoral summer season. That evening, at the stroke of midnight, hundreds of Druids circled the Tor. They sang, they drummed and they celebrated.

It is said that in the old days, Druids gathered in eternal choirs and made music 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and they literally enchanted the land. Other stories that I have heard say that there is a sacred mystery school underneath the mountain we call the Tor. There is unusual terracing surrounding the Tor that has labyrinth like qualities. It is said that if you walk along these terraces in a spiral manner, once you reach the top you have been initiated and prepared to enter the mystery school. By the way, it is a four to six hour journey to do this. St. Michael's Tor is also known to be at a rare crossing of the sacred Michael and Mary lines magnifying its amazing energy.

The Tor at sunset

Even if you knew nothing about this sacred Mount, once your eyes fall across its misty silhouette, you also become enchanted. It rises up above the surrounding landscape like an ancient Guardian or Sentinel and can be seen for miles and miles away. So as you can imagine, I was happy to be returning to the sacred mountain.

Again on this recent trip to the area, I climbed the Tor at day's end. It was perfect weather which is unusual for this time of year. The energy was crackling with light. I was really excited to make an essence in this energy. I placed the bowl in the doorway of the remains of the old church which lies at the very peak of the Tor. The sun was setting in the West, and the light was streaming through the doorway.

Being an amateur archaeo-astronomer (the study of celestial events on ancient sites), I was excited to see the sun set through the doorway. I realized that it was Celtic New Year, yet another synchronistic moment. I realized that it very well may have been that that church was built specifically to capture Celtic New Year's setting sun. It must have been amazing to see the setting sun burst through the doors and light up the church in all its glory with the light of the sun in celebration of Celtic New Year. Oh how I wish I could turn the clocks back and see that Sun set.

I have been to a lot of sacred sites that use the setting and rising Sun to activate the energy in the temples. There are many across Mexico, Guatemala and Peru. All ancient cultures in the Americas are solar oriented. In other words, they study the Sun's cycles in relation to the evolution and consciousness of humanity. There is also a tremendous amount of evidence to suggest that once we have evolved to a certain level, we would be able to literally live on the energy of the sun. It's not really that crazy of an idea considering that the plant kingdom all around us does this already, and some rare humans also.

Last sunlight through the Tor on Celtic New Year - the water is still in the bowl

Well, to get back to the story . . . at this point, I could literally see the energy jumping in the water and the bowl. I was getting really excited thinking that this was going to be the greatest essence I have ever made! Just about the time that I was ready to go gather the water up, the unthinkable happened. Out of nowhere, a big fluffy and very jubilant country dog ran into the church door and drank the water down with great relish. He acted as if he knew someone had left a tasty fresh bowl of Chalice Well spring water there just for him. For those of you that know Archangel Michael, I'm guessing that this was one of his jokes. Needless to say I didn't get the essence that day. But as you can see, I got great photos.

Two days later on our last day in England, we made the climb again up the Tor to see if we could capture that amazing energy. We wanted to bring a bit of this energy home to share with those who have not traveled there. But the energy was completely different today. Sacred sites shift from day-to-day. This is why you never know what you are going to experience when you get there. Sometimes they are really amazing, and you have great experiences. Other times they are just ancient rubble. I say this because it is important to follow your heart every time you have a calling to go to a sacred site, because that day may very well be the day that the site sparkles just for you. But today on the Tor, the sky was not sparkling, and the energy was not conducive for essence making. So alas, I must wait for another trip.

I have a request for those reading this that live in and around the Glastonbury area. It is my belief that the sun also rises through the doorways at the Tor on Beltane in May. If anybody is up for an early morning hike, check it out for me and report back. : )

As I was packing for this recent trip to England, Archangel Michael popped in and said make an Avalon series of essences. I came prepared to make a quite a few, but as you can see I only made four. The Tor will have to wait for another day. I didn't feel it was the right day when we went to the Abbey either; although I know exactly how to go about it when the time is right. Wearyall Hill is another place we intend to make an essence next time around. On our next trip, we also want to work with Cadbury Castle - known to be King Arthur's Camelot, Tintagel Castle - King Arthur's birthplace, as well as St. Michael's Mount and Merlin's cave. I'm asking King Arthur, Saint Michael and my old pal Merlin to help us pave the way for us to do this work, but please tie up the dogs first.

Golden Sun Crop Circle ~ Christ Consciousness

It all began with this essence on our first trip to England...
Anchors and awakens the inner Christ and Inner Child; Bridges Earth with the Heavens. On the Mayan day 1 CIMI (May 4, 1998), between 2 and 4 am, a 33 petaled crop circle appeared in a field of golden rape seed (Canola Oil), near Silbury Hill in Wiltshire, England. The circle, the first of the season, appeared the very evening there was a powerful ceremony during the 3rd Annual Mayan Dreamtime Festival in Glastonbury. This crop circle is intimately linked to the Mayan Calendar by the frequency of 33. The master number 33 represents Christ consciousness and the awakening kundalini. The 33 is the 13 numbers and the 20 Suns in the Tzolk’in, a sacred calendar for the human being. The 13 numbers are our spirits and the 20 Suns are our bodies. When we merge spirit with our body, we activate the sacred 33 within our 33 vertebrae and our kundalini. The Mayan day, 1 CIMI, represents energy flowing from the great creator creating a bridge between the worlds. Those who stood inside the circle could feel a powerful flow of energy from the cosmos entering the circle. Many felt childlike, charged, healed, healthy and strong. This Flower Essence was made within the first 20 hours of this crop circle’s appearance. This essence was made from rape seed flowers (Canaola Oil) bent over with cosmic forces within a 33-petaled crop circle. We used sacred water from Chalice Well, Glastonbury, England, where Christ and Joseph of Arimathea administered healings. The essence was made at sunset in a healing garden within the frequencies of Glastonbury, England.
